Accessibility statement

toolboxx-media UG (limited liability) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continuously improve the usability of our SaaS application and apply the relevant accessibility standards.

This digital accessibility statement applies to the SaaS application published under the URL *.intervent-statistiksoftware.de  published SaaS application "INTERVENT" of toolboxx-media UG (limited liability).

As a Service provider within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we strive to make our SaaS application accessible in accordance with the provisions of the German Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

According to Section 3 of the BITV, SaaS applications are presumed to be accessible if they meet the requirements of the harmonized European Standard (EN) 301 549 (in its current version). EN 301 549 refers to the requirements of the international standard Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) with conformance levels A and AA. These requirements form the core of the testable success criteria.

Efforts to Support accessibility

toolboxx-media UG takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Accessibility is part of our internal company code of conduct.
  • During the design and implementation process, employees are reminded to comply with the standard through appropriate review tasks and confirmation obligations.
  • There are project-specific goals for achieving maximum accessibility.
  • Formal testing tools (WAVE WebAIM, IBM Accessibility Tool) for quality assurance of accessibility are used continuously.
  • People with visual impairments were involved in the initial development process.

Status of compliance with the requirements

Non-accessible content

  • There is no equivalent alternative to the existing navigation option. Users therefore do not have the option to choose a suitable alternative for them (for example, a search function or a table of contents/sitemap).  

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technologies

This website is designed to be compatible with all common browsers in the current version and at least their previous version.

Evaluation methods

toolboxx-media UG assessed the accessibility of this SaaS application using the following method:

  • Self-assessment: The SaaS application was evaluated internally by 2 employees in the organization independently of each other. The criteria checked were those of the testing functions of the above-mentioned testing tools that were current at the time of the test. Any necessary adjustments to the SaaS application will be made as part of further development.

Conciliation procedure

If, even after your feedback to the contact mentioned above, no satisfactory solution has been found, you can contact the arbitration board pursuant to Section 16 of the Federal Disability Equality Act (BGG). The BGG arbitration board’s task is to Support the out-of-court settlement of disputes in conflicts concerning accessibility between people with disabilities and federal public bodies. The arbitration procedure is free of charge. No legal counsel needs to be engaged.
